So myself and the artist sat down the other day in some rather inconspicuous (poorly) African-themed cafe where we continued the "epic" adventure of our ragtag band of heroes. In this crazy world there are very few constants; what I can guarantee you, however, is the following:
1.) Vallant will still shoot like crap.
2.) Spin's only role in any universe is to wave his stick around in the face of danger.
3.) Gorrok is painfully aware of 1 and 2 and powerless to change it.
4.) The story will only make sense if you open your mind to the mindless and arbitrary fashion in which it was created.
Speaking of the mindless and arbitrary fashion of storytelling, if I were poetic, I'd compare Teh Gladiators' story to the intricate natural artistry that spring water will carve into the granite rock of mountain peaks -- seemingly random events give birth to true beauty -- but, since I'm not (thankfully), I'll tell you that Teh Gladiators' story is like squashing a Snickers bar with your bare foot -- you get something stuck between your toes that's sort of... intricate... to a certain type of people... under very specific circumstances.
