So, another Monday is about to roll in. This one filled with more challenges than usual. See, this is the thing about challenges: you may seek for wisdom from others, you may follow the society's overarching rules on how one should react to various situations, but at the end of the day, it is going to be you who is making that shot - for better or for worse. There are no guarantees in life - there are too many aspects to consider. There is no straight way to any situation, or a guaranteed solution to any problem. There is likely a discord between your heart and your mind and then there is Lady Luck.
At the end of the day, you'll stare at that avalanche all alone and you will need to make that call and live with it. Sometimes, you will reach what would be interpreted as a prudent decision, and yet, a runaway tree, rolling down the steep slope in a storm of snow, may clobber you just as you are being commended for your great actions.
Experience is a great thing, but the irony of it is that it so often finds its wisdom in the errors we make. How ironic is that? Having the forethought to reach wisdom without making those mistakes almost seems like a paradox. Again, ironically, this would be a paradox in itself.
Yes, I know, I haven't said a word about the comic. Sometimes things play out like that.
